Der HA5-Fiber wandelt einen HDMI-Eingang zu 3G-SDI über ein Single-Mode 1310-nm--Glasfaserkabel (ST-Style-Fiber-Connector) zum Transport von HDMI-Quellen über Glasfaser mit 1080p 60-Unterstützung um. Dank des kleinen Formfaktors kann dieser Mini-Converter problemlos auf der Rückseite einer Kamera oder hinter einem Geräterack angebracht werden. Embedded 8-Kanal-Audiosignale werden am Glasfaserausgang unterstützt und ermöglichen eine bequeme Audio- / Videoverbindung mit einem Kabel von bis zu 10 km. Die HA5-Fiber bietet bei Bedarf auch 2-Kanal-RCA-Audioeingänge für einen Stereo-Audioeingang.
